Strong at the Broken Places:  Resiliency in the Lives of Traumatized Children and Youth

with Lynn Sanford, LICSW

This workshop will focus on Aaron Antonovsky’s Sense of Coherence Model.  With a strength-focus balanced by witnessing what distresses the child or youth, this approach helps us make sense out of behaviors that appear self-defeating.   The workshop will focus on working with the child or teen’s thinking, feeling and spiritual beliefs stemming from traumatic events in an affirming way.
