Leading Sexuality Education Groups with Sexually Abusive Youth: Streetwise to Sex-Wise, the NEW Third Edition

with Steven Brown, Psy.D.

Webinar Overview

Now, there is general agreement that best practice involves helping youth learn about healthy sexuality, not only stopping abusive sexual behavior. It requires teaching about sexual behaviors youth can engage in as replacement behaviors for abusive sexuality.

For 25 years, Streetwise to Sex-wise: Sexuality Education for High-Risk Youth, now in its 3rd edition, has been a “go-to” curriculum for agencies across the globe serving youth with sexual behavior problems. This interactive workshop, by the author, will introduce participants to the third edition, discuss the methodology for teaching sexuality education to high-risk youth, and introduce strategies used in sex ed groups for this population.
