FOSTER CARE SERVICES

CLINICAL CASE MANAGER

We have a full-time opening based in our Easthampton, MA office for a Clinical Case Manager to be part of our Foster Care team! The position requires clinical care and management of an assigned client case load, specific to clients at high risk of psychiatric hospitalization or interventions. Responsibilities and duties include weekly individualtherapy sessions, communication and relationship building with clients and all collateral partners (schools, funding partners, agencies, clinicians, foster homes, etc.), and timely and effective reporting in accordance with agency protocols. The Clinical Case Manager creates measurable clinical goals, provides timely crises response and emergency safety planning, and participates in on-call services as needed.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree and candidates must be license eligible. Candidates must have experience working with at risk populations in clinical therapeutic settings. FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES

IN-HOME THERAPY CBHI CLINICIAN

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks full-time, Master’s level Clinicians for our In-Home Therapy department to aid families via home delivered services. The successful candidate should be experienced in the treatment of at-risk youth for group/individual/family treatment. The Clinician will work in treatment milieu as part of a multi-disciplinary team with youth experiencing trauma, sexual behaviors, and anger control issues. Familiarity with CBHI necessary.

Local travel is required. Must have Master’s degree in Social Work, mental health counseling or other related discipline. Must be licensed or license-eligible. Approved CORI, DCF and driving background checks are required, along with reliable transportation.

There is a $1000 sign on bonus for joining the NCYF team for this position! NCYF will provide you $500 on your first day of employment and an additional $500 after successful completion of a 90-day “orientation” period. Other details and rules apply.

THERAPEUTIC TRAINING & SUPPORT / THERAPEUTIC MENTOR

Northeast Center for Youth and Families has a full-time opening for the position of Therapeutic Training and Support / Therapeutic Mentor to be part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The TT&S/TM works under the supervision of a clinician to support implementation of the licensed clinician’s treatment plan and assists the youth and family in achieving the goals of the plan. Implementation of therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan will address the youth’s mental health, behavioral and emotional needs. This service includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.

Requirements include:

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required and one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs, or

-Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and approved DMV, DCF and CORI background checks. Travel is involved and a reliable vehicle is needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

ADMINISTRATIVE

RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – MALDEN

Northeast Center for Youth & Families has an opening for a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our Medford Foster Care Program. Responsibilities include telephone answering and routing calls, managing reception area, overseeing tracking logs and general administrative support. Other responsibilities include greeting visitors, copying, filing, assisting with creating project assignments, and distributing mail to appropriate personnel.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. The right candidate must have knowledge of reception and administrative practices including operation of office equipment such as fax, copier and postage machine and have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and internet software.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - MA

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks a full-time Program Director for its adolescent female group home located in Springfield, MA. The Director will be responsible for the overall operation and delivery of clinical, residential and medical services. Duties include weekly supervision of the Program Clinical staff, Residential Supervisors and facilitating weekly staff meetings.   Other responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures. This position requires on-call coverage. To be qualified, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and also have three years of experience as an administrator in a residential setting. Master’s Degree in a clinical discipline preferred but not required. Clinical license in the state of MA preferred (LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) but not required. Approved DCF, CORI and driving background checks are also required.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM CLINICIAN

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks a full-time, Master's level Residential Program Clinician (licensed) experienced in the treatment of children for individual, group and family treatment. The Clinician will work in treatment milieu as part of a multi-disciplinary team with youth experiencing trauma, sexual behaviors, mental health and behavioral challenges, and will provide clinical services to youth and families. Maintains records on client progress and attends necessary meetings in support of assigned clients, including treatment planning meetings, psychiatric reviews, and external meetings. Provides crisis intervention as needed. Some local travel required. Salary for the Residential Program Clinician is $47,000. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, clinical license (LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or LMHC) or equivalent, and five years of clinical work. Experience working with high risk youth preferred. Position duties include modeling and teaching age-appropriate social and living skills and implementing the agency’s behavior management policies.

Requirements include a valid driver's license with approved driving record, CORI, and DCF background checks and a minimum of a high school diploma. Prefer experience working with adolescents and children and at-risk youth. MAP certification and bilingual also preferred. Knowledge of trauma informed care helpful. 

RELIEF RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS

Northeast Center for Youth and Families, Inc. is seeking Relief Residential Counselors in West Springfield and Springfield to work early mornings, 2 nd shift and 3 rd shift. Position duties include modeling and teaching age-appropriate social and living skills and implementing the agency’s behavior management policies.

TRI-COUNTY SCHOOLS

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks a Special Education Teacher to join our team of educators dedicated to students with emotional and behavioral needs. Duties including teaching academic classes following the Common Core, creating and following goals and objectives for IEPs, writing quarterly progress reports and following behavior plans. Requirements include DESE certification in Special Education K-12. Preference given to candidates with DESE 3 years classroom experience and experience with students on behavior plans.

HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER 

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. seeks a High School Math Teacher to teach, supervisor and tutor individual students and classes of students in accordance with the Mass Curriculum Guidelines and the individual education plans. The Math Teacher will maintain a positive instructional environment which is conducive to good order in learning, student interest, and maturity level, and appropriate to the expectations of the school. Other requirements include preparing students for standardized tests and documenting progress notes. This individual will be directly responsible for assigned students, their health and safety through appropriate interventions. Requirements include a current and valid DESE license in Secondary Math (9-12) and/or Moderate Special Education 7-12 with a concentration in math. Must have a demonstrated interest in working with children with significant learning, social, emotional and behavioral needs.

SUPPORT SERVICES INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE 

Tri-County Schools has a full-time, Support Services Instructional Aide position available to assist at-risk youth in a special education setting. Duties include student supervision, assisting in monitoring and performing daily school routines, modeling appropriate behavior, and providing appropriate interventions as necessar. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience working with the special education population preferred.

INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE

Tri-County Schools has a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Instructional Aide position available to assist at-risk youth in a special education setting. This position includes performing duties such as delivering daily academic instruction, assisting in monitoring and performing of daily school routines and related tasks as specified within the IEP and ITP, modeling appropriate behavior, participating in program activities, and maintaining daily and continuous data and documentation. Requirements include an Associate’s degree and/or Work Keys / Paraprofessional certification. Experience working with the special education population preferred.
